How did you get your passion? For this field?
How I got into modeling was I always watched runways on youtube. I always saw runways on tv and I always saw in an artistic way, a way of self expression, and I said to myself, I could do that. And also, too I needed a change from what i'm doing.
How did you get into modeling? What was your first experience like?
My first experience in modeling was honestly very easy for me because it was a natural fit. And also too, it was the first time in my life. I had confidence in something. And I just knew, this was I where I needed to be at just from the clothes I was wearing the chemistry. Me in my photographer had poses.I knew exactly what I wanted. And I wasn't nervous, it was just that very moment.
Who inspires you in the fashion world, and why?
Believe it or not It's the younger generation of kids because their sense of style and fashion is what I incorporate into my shoots. The most for me, it's how they carry themselves.
"I always saw it in an artistic way, a way to express myself, and I said to myself, I can do it."
What modeling work, you're proud of? Why?
The one modeling project that i'm really proud of is when I did my macy's runway. It was a really big opportunity, because it's "macy's", and i'm just super grateful that I wasn't nervous, and I really changed everything about myself during that time, and I think about it every day like, wow, I was in macy's, i'm really proud of that one.I did something different.
Do you like traveling? Do you have experience doing photo shoots while traveling?
I would love to travel outside of the u.S I would love to go to different countries and experience them while doing photo shoots but I haven't had the chance, but that is something I look forward to in the future. Hopefully, next year, with the right agencies and the right opportunities.
Do you prefer live fashion shows or on site photo shoot?
I prefer on-site photo shoots. They pay good.
What would you say to models who are just starting their career?
The one thing I would tell people who want to get started into modeling is, don't be afraid. Your first shoot is always gonna be the one that makes you. And if you continue doing it, that's the one that's always gonna inspire you to be better in every shoot, every runway.
